Reza Khaksarpour's Biography


I was born in fall of 1983 in Sirjan, Iran. I received my BSc. and MSc. degrees in Electrical Engineering in February 2006 and January 2012 from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and Sharif University of Technology, respectively.

I've been a lecturer in Sirjan University of Technology since the spring semester of 2012. I've taught Automatic Control and Linear Control Systems to mechanical and electrical engineering students, respectively. You can find more information about my calendar and classes on my teaching page.

From March 2012, I've had a job in Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and I was a project engineer in the production lines’ modification project till June 2014. The most important projects that I coordinated were the design of the control system revamping and 7 km. pellet conveying system which are, respectively, one of the largest control system revamps and the longest conveying system in Iran.

Currently, I am a researcher at Golgohar Iron ore and Steel Research Institute (GISRI). My research area is electrical and automation. My primary research interest is focused on optimal and modern control strategies and using them for industrial and distributed control systems. At Golgohar I've also been the secretary of electrical and automation working group since September 2012. It's formed to examine particular situations or problems in Golgohar's electrical and automation area and suggest ways of dealing with it.
